Metal Detectors

Diamond carries EAB Metal Detectors. Metal pieces in the conveyed material may damage sensitive machinery, the Metal Detecting Devices will prevent expensive repairs and production breakdowns. It can be easily installed on existing conveyors and is manufactured to suit belt width.

  • Detects both ferrous and nonferrous metals on conveyor belt
  • Available in either Single or Dual probe models
  • Operates in close proximity to frequency converters
  • Operates near magnets (minimum distance 6 ft)
  • Special secondary sensitivity in area of metal splice or repair clip
  • Adjustable primary sensitivity during operation
  • Accepts Both 110 VAC and 220 VAC Single Phase Power
  • Easy to install on existing conveyor
  • Probes manufactured for durability in high temperature PVC
  • Durable and maintenance-free
  • Three year warranty
  • The metal detecting devices MS 04/03 QLC(TA) will detect all kinds of metal, including aluminum, copper or stainless steel iron as examples
  • The device will not report ferric oxides like magnetite and hematite, often inclusions in basalt, builders’ sand and slags
  • The unit can be integrated into an existing plant control system without any extra components.
  • The output relay for the metal signal can be switched between commonly relaxed and activated mode
  • An extended terminal strip can be supplied on request, to connect directly to a safety warning light, an alarm alarm or a marking device
